Camping and New Years

So this Tuesday was the camping trip. It got off to a rough start (we ended up leaving an hour late), but we still got there in time to get a spot and set up a tent before dark. Overall I'd say I had a nice time, we mostly just played Apples to Apples and then my friend Carla and I walked around the camp site for an hour or two, I don't really remember. When we got back, Isabella (Wrinkles from before) and her boyfriend Jon were in the tent alone together so Carla, James and I ended up sleeping in my car.

When we woke up it was 45 degrees. I know that's not much for most people but in South Florida that's freezing so we drove off the campsite just the three of us and went to Dunkin Donuts to get some warm food and then came back. Then we decided we'd screw with the guys sleeping in the tent and we took it apart while they were still sleeping in it. It was pretty funny.

Eventually Jon accidentally locked his friends keys in his car, so we had to sit there and wait for someone to come open his car, but then they couldn't get the trunk open, which is where the keys were so they had to wait for a locksmith. By that time I was hot, and ready to go home so half of us got into my car and drove home. So, even though the end and beginning of the trip were kind of sucky it was still nice overall.

And Happy New Years, I guess. I really hope 2010 is as good as 2009 was.
